Both coasts of Cornwall are
of course inviting, the north being more spectacular
with its high cliffs, wide beaches and harbours. The south
is mainly more flat, but still has its high spots, estuaries,
sandy beaches and fishing villages. The countryside excursions
are quite delightful towards the coasts, and if you plan your
routes accordingly, you can almost avoid main roads. National
Trust houses, and private homes such as Cotehele
House & Gardens,
Lanhydrock House, and
Saltram House maintain historic links.
On this page we have added additional places
of interest and some locations we feel would be of interest that
are a bit further afield, but with careful planning, will provide
you with an enjoyable day trip out.
